Introducing a very exclusive edition, Jessie.
My childhood and lifelong friend, is battling a chronic illness. She has been navigating life with a condition called gastroparesis. In simple terms, her stomach is paralysed, which means it can’t process food properly. Because of this, she relies on an NJ feeding tube and a gastric pacemaker to survive. This isn’t the first time she’s faced serious health struggles. Since she was 18, she’s been living with severe endometriosis, which has required multiple surgeries to manage the pain and complications. On top of everything, she reacts severely to a lot of medication. Some of these reactions have included anaphylactic shock, seizures, and losing all muscle control due to intense cramping. Treatment for her level of gastroparesis isn’t covered by the NHS, so she’s had to turn to a private specialist in North London. While this care has been essential, it’s also been financially draining. Despite the challenges she has faced, Jessie remains resolute in her determination to progress and reclaim a sense of health and normalcy.
 
Jessie is an exceptional human. Her energy, kindness, and love for others are truly inspiring. From the very beginning, she has been one of the earliest to demonstrate her support and love for my little brand.
 
In recognition of Jessie’s unwavering spirit, we have decided to create a truly special bag. It is handcrafted from premium, fine-grained leather, in a captivating shade of buttermilk yellow, reminiscent of her radiant self. The bag is accompanied by our Soleil silk Mediterranean citrus twilly, a symbol of beauty, elegance, and strength. All profits generated from the sales of ‘The Jessie Clutch’ will be dedicated to supporting her in her subsequent treatment journey.

Fine-grain calf leather in a captivating shade of buttermilk yellow. It is beautifully supple yet buttery-soft with a very subtle, almost invisible grain, giving it a matte to soft satin appearance. While it is durable, it is prone to showing light scratches and indentations, allowing it to age quietly over time.  Exuding a velvety softness that captivates the touch and its 'luxuriously squishy’, like nature offers a more relaxed and casual silhouette.
